Varsity Expectations
- All Varsity athletes must attend 100% of practices and swim meets throughout the course of the season.
- If a varsity athlete does not meet these expectations they may be moved to junior varsity and compete with the junior varsity until they can demonstrate consistency in their daily participation. If participation does not improve they will be withheld from meets and potentially removed from the team.
- Varsity swimmers may be withheld from EBALs if they miss meet
- Varsity swimmers that do not attend EBALs cannot attend NCS
Club Swimmer Expectations
- Mandatory meetings at lunch as scheduled by the coaches.
- If a club swimmer does not attend these weekly meetings they may be withheld from a meet or, if on varsity, moved to junior varsity.
Regardless of level, ALL SWIMMERS MUST ATTEND EBAL SWIM CHAMPIONSHIPS (EBALS). If a swimmer does NOT attend EBALS the swimmer may no longer be considered a member of the Dublin High School Swim Team or may not receive their varsity patches or may not receive their swim certificates. Non attendance consequences will be up to the coaches.
Parent Expectations
ALL PARENTS ARE EXPECTED TO FILL:
- Two volunteer positions for the season (timer, lane runner, pool monitor, etc.)
- One hospitality position for the season (bring food and/or beverages)
Parents need to sign up under each swim meet's "Job Sign Up" button.
These volunteer positions do NOT include NCS or CIF. There may be additional volunteer positions for parents whose swimmers qualify and attend those meets.
Parents who do NOT meet their volunteer requirements may have their swimmers removed from the team.
